CAPITAL CITIES | I Sold My Bed, But Not My Stereo (BECKS, DIESEL, DIADORA)

Capital Cities and their aptly named label Capital Records were looking to make a follow up music video for their smash hit "Safe and Sound".  I had pitched a concept about a garage sale that turns into a professional concert for "Safe and Sound" but the label felt it wasn't right for that particular song.  But, six months later they came back and asked if I wanted to make it for "I sold my Bed, But Not My Stereo". 

The challenge was going to be seamlessly focusing on a strong musical performance from Capital Cities while swiftly moving the plot along and featuring their three brand sponsors (Becks Beer, Diesel Sunglasses, and Diadora Sneakers) AND a cameo appearance from Darren Criss (Glee) inside of a four minute song without feeling rushed.  But hey, that's music videos!
